By now you are probably wondering if we gave up on “Harold Rose”. Actually, you probably aren’t even thinking about it all. But after 2 years of working on this short on weekends & late nights after work (when we had time), we are VERY close to being done. Last night we sent off the final edit to our composer (yes, we hired another person!) & have started filling out applications for 2012 film festivals.

If you have the chance, take a look at this flashback scene from the film. In this particular sequence, Harold has just broken his curse that left him emotionless for most of his life. At that moment, a flood of memories unveils emotions that he had never felt before. He is now experiencing them for the very first time. (Please note that this upload is void of music & sound effects.)

I don’t usually blog very often, but I really wanted to share this with you few who follow me.

This may be an old song to some and it should be to me, however, it’s been hiding on my iPod for over 6 months now. Tonight on my jog I was shuffling songs and this one began to play. I, honest to goodness, had to stop running because it touched me so much. That is probably because it mentions two of the States that have impacted my life the most: Oklahoma (where I grew up) and California (where I have been the happiest). How I had missed this gem of a song for so long is beyond me.

So please, if you have a minute, take a listen to this song. My heart thanks you.
